Hoosier
Handmade Musky Baits
|
Welcome
to the Internet home of Hoosier Handmade Musky Baits. I started designing and building musky baits as a hobby. It has
grown to be a part time business that I really enjoy. More enjoyment comes from somebody else catching muskies on my
baits and hearing the story and seeing the fish pictures from my customers all over the world. My
baits are handmade from Indiana hardwoods to order for each customer. Hand cut , shaped and painted one at a time. Each bait
requires three weeks to finish, sometimes longer during cold weather months. I use Mustad Extra strong bronze hooks, .092"
dia. ss screweyes mounted with 3000 lb. rated marine epoxy. All my baits are coated with at least 5 coats of the strongest
UV tolerant epoxy available. What sets our baits apart from the rest are the LOUD internal rattles. These rattles also
give the baits some very unique gliding characteristics. The 9 & 10" and the Fat Potbelly glider have double
rattles that make different sounds depending on the movement of the bait. Another unique feature is I offer both sinking and
topwater versions of all my Gliders! I can also make heavier versions if needed. I ship via US Priority Mail.
Minimum rate is $6 for one pound. I can ship up to 2 baits for that amount. The Kahuna family of topwater
gliders is available in indestructible solid PVC or hard Maple, note that these are the only non-rattle baits I offer. I
now have available optional add on Tails from Boggs Tackle. You won't find extravagant colors here. I offer natural
patterns, that I have developed mainly through suggestions from my customers. Since I build to order for everyone, I
will paint other colors. Send me a picture of what you want and I'll tell you if I can do it. All Indiana sales
will require sales tax to keep the governor happy. I except Paypal, checks or money orders. Please visit all my friends
via the links on my home page. Also find the email link for any questions you have and use this link to email me an
order. Nothing fancy here just me doing what I love to do the most. And in return PLEASE send me pictures of anything
you hookup with. Thanks for Visiting and if you come
across me out on the water in my Silver and black BassCat please take a minute and say hello,
